Jennifer and I are very excited for our very first ECD workshop this coming weekend. We would appreciate your thoughts and prayers if not your attendance as we work to grow and serve our members. Many thanks to all who are working with us to make the workshop a success. Workshop registration is now over 60, but walk-ins at the workshop are still welcome.

If you can’t attend the workshop, please come to the Ball! The Costume Ball is not just for those attending the workshop: All are invited to a Historic Costume Ball Saturday evening, from 7-9pm, with live music by band Cecil’s Harp. Cecil’s Harp boasts members Gary Lieberman (clarinet, flute, oboe, guitar), Linda Lieberman (clarinet, whistles, fiddle, percussion), Laurel Anderson (Piano), and Susana Iglesias (fiddle). The Ball is free to attend but donations are requested. Costumes welcome, but please dress modestly.

  1. Dear Miss Duff,

The Ball was very lovely and a smashing success. Well organized and run, you are all to be commended for an excellent event with fun had by all. With the Duff sisters as hostesses, I look forward to future balls, and dances in between.

Well done ladies, you deserve a well earned round of applause.

    My Very Best Regards,
    Major E.G.Smith
