Well, we’ve had a very up and down time trying to decide whether or not to have dances, where to have dances, and how to have dances, since we last posted in March. Things have been changing every month and the OldDD Board has been talking regularly about what to do. At present our main difficulty is that there are no buildings open and available to use. But rest assured, we do have a plan! For September, at least, we are holding the Hobbit Ball(The very long expected party) outdoors at a privately-owned petting zoo. What a unique and fitting location for Bilbo Baggins’ Birthday party!

Here’s the deal:

-Masks are not required, but you may wear one if you choose. We plan to have hand sanitizer available.

-We will have prepackaged snacks and bottled water, but you are also welcome to bring your own food and drink(strictly non-alcoholic). Do not feed the animals!

-If you prefer not to dance, there is plenty of space on the lawn to bring a chair, watch and listen.
