Did you make a New Year’s resolution to have more fun? Or perhaps you committed to spending more time with family and friends. Or maybe you made the ever-popular promise to exercise more. All these resolutions and more can be fulfilled at one (or all) of our monthly dances!
You may be wondering,
“Why is it called the ‘Blue Dance’? Are people sad when they come? Do you play New Orleans style music? Do you have the Blue Man Group play the Gay Gordon at the end?!”
1. Sad? We certainly hope not! But if they arrive sad, they will most likely leave a little more chipper. (If they get out on the dance floor, that is.)
2. New Orleans? Haven’t yet. The closest thing is a little swing at our Veteran’s Day Dance…
3. Blue Man Group?! Hey! That would be nifty! Here’s how we make that happen: you bring five of your friends, and your friends bring five of their friends, and their friends bring… After a couple (dozen) more multiplications, we should have the funds to be able to book them. Dancers, mark your calendars for January 16th, 2037.
Well, bring your friends anyway, fulfill those New Year’s resolutions, and wear something blue, periwinkle, or sapphire, and come join us on
